What Backsight is

Backsight is a research tool for US-listed stocks and options. It shows screens, signals, prices, filings and options analysis built from third-party data and rules-based models.

Backsight does not give investment, tax or legal advice, does not recommend that you buy or sell anything, and does not place trades. Signals, scores, presets and AI summaries describe data; they are not recommendations and do not consider your personal circumstances. You are responsible for your own decisions.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may keep one account, and you are responsible for activity on it and for keeping your password safe.

Data and accuracy

Market data is end-of-day unless a page says otherwise, may be delayed, and comes from providers we do not control. Filings and news link to their original sources. Data can be incomplete, late or wrong; we show dates and sources so you can check. Past results, including backtests, do not predict future results.

Some data is licensed for personal use only and is shown only to accounts allowed to see it.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell or redistribute data or content from the service, scrape it, overload it, get around plan limits or access controls, or use it for anything unlawful.

Plans and payment

Free features stay free. Paid plans renew until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Prices and features on the Pricing page may change with notice.

Ending your account

You can stop using Backsight and ask us to delete your account at support@stockscreener.app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Backsight is not liable for trading losses or for decisions made using the service, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
